Auctioneers reserve the right to block a bidder from bidding with them through our system.
If you're blocked by an auctioneer, you won't be able to bid with them but you can still bid with other auctioneers on our website. The most common reason for a block is failure to pay for won items, however, the reason an auctioneer may choose to block a bidder from their auctions can vary.
We have made it so the auctioneer must choose from a list of pre-written reasons and they are separated into two tiers - a public or a private block.
- A public block can be seen by other auctioneers and usually relate to non payment.
- A private block cannot be seen by other auctioneers and usually relates to collection or private disputes.
If you have been blocked from bidding by an auctioneer, you will receive an email from us telling you which auction house has blocked you. If you wish to have the block removed the best thing to do is to contact the auctioneer who has placed the block, and discuss the matter further. You'll find their contact details on the email.
Alternatively, you can use our auctioneer directory to find their contact information.
