Registering to bid is quick and simple through our website. You can typically register for an auction at any time, even while the auction is in progress. However, it's a good idea to register early to ensure you don’t miss out on any of the lots.
How to find an Auction to register for:
- Log in to your account.
- At the top of the page, go to 'Find Auctions' > 'Auction Calendar'.
- Choose the auction you’d like to participate in.
- Click on 'Get approved to bid'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration. You may need to add a card as part of the process.
Registering from a Lot Page:
If you already have a specific lot in mind, you can register directly from the lot page:
- Click on 'Register to bid online' on the right-hand side of the page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration. You may need to add a card as part of the process.
Once complete, you'll receive a confirmation email. As soon as the auction house approves your registration, you’ll get another email and be able to bid.
In most cases, this approval happens automatically. However, there are some instances where your status may remain "pending". The most common reason for this delay is an unverified email address.
If you want to expedite the approval process, consider reaching out to the auctioneer directly to ensure you’ve met all their criteria for approval. You can find their contact details in your registration email.
